Unfortunately we did not see much animals. We did not drive above the main road. The lunch took about 2.5 hours and in the afternoon there was no time anymore for see some animals. Big bus instead of small tour- it was very dissappinting for US this time.

We had a great time on our gamedrive. Gary spotted all the animals we would have otherwise missed and was very knowledgeable. We've learned a lot. And other than that, Gary is a very warm&special person! We defenitely recommend this tour.

When we think back on this trip that ended a few days ago, there are images that flash up like a cinema reel: Whales surfacing in Walker's Bay, the light on the lime-green fynbos and jewel like flowers with wonderful scents in Grootbos reserve; also the rhinoceros and her baby that stood behind her for protection in Gondwana Private Game reserve. Also not to forget the penguins of Boulder's bay and the crashing waves of Tsitsikamma. There are too many moments of delight to count. Most of all we were lucky to have as our guide, Nina who was so full of life and passion for the trip. She explained a lot about the sights we passed on the road, and was as excited as we were to be exploring the Garden Route. Some of our best memories will be talking and laughing with Nina, having a coffee or listening to music in the car.
