Follow waterholes, open plains and dense thicket as your guide searches for elephants, buffalo, zebra, antelope, lions and birdlife—sharing the signs, stories and behaviours you might otherwise miss.

With comfortable closed-vehicle touring, park entry, and harbour transfers included, you can simply enjoy the excitement of each new sighting and return with remarkable photographs and Addo stories of your own.

Cruise Timing:
Collection and return align with your ship’s schedule, ensuring a comfortable return before all-aboard time.

Meeting Point:
Gqeberha Harbour parking area. Look for the Into Tours welcome sign; final details are sent before arrival.

Transport:
Enjoy a game drive in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan or coaster tailored to your group size. Limited passenger numbers provide extra space.

1. 09:00 | Harbour Collection

   Meet your guide at Gqeberha Harbour and settle into your air-conditioned vehicle. Your guide will introduce the day and take your lunch pre-order.

2. 09:45 | Arrive at Addo

   Enter through Matyholweni Gate, where your guide handles the park entry. Restrooms are available before the safari begins.

3. Morning | Into the Wild

   Explore Addo’s southern section, travelling through dense thicket, open plains and wildlife-rich waterholesYour guide will share stories about the park’s animals, plants and conservation.

   Look out for elephants, buffalo, zebra, kudu, warthog, antelope, lions and abundant birdlife, with stops for photographs whenever safely possible.

4. 11:00 | Comfort Break

   Take a restroom break before continuing to the northern section.

5. Late Morning | Waterholes & Wildlife

   Follow safari routes, learning about elephants and the park's unique creatures.

6. 13:00 | Light Lunch at Addo Main Camp

   Enjoy your pre-ordered light lunch in the outdoor lapa area. After lunch, browse the curio shop or visit the Interpretation Centre.

7. 14:15 | Afternoon Safari

   Set out again as the light changes, adapting the route based on recent sightings.

8. 16:30 | Return Journey

   Leave Addo and relax on the drive back to Gqeberha.

9. Approximately 17:00 | Return to Your Ship

   Arrive back at the harbour, coordinated with the ship’s all-aboard time.

Each day in Addo is unique. Wildlife roams freely, so sightings aren't guaranteed, but your guide will track fresh signs, visit active waterholes, and select the best routes for optimal viewing.

Addo's weather can change—hot, cool, windy, or dusty. You'll travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle with bottled water and restroom breaks to ensure a pleasant experience.

Some park roads are gravel and uneven, which adds to the safari adventure. Families and seniors are welcome; please inform us of any needs when booking.

Travel insurance is recommended.

Non-Refundable Deposit: A 20% deposit within 72 hours is required from the time of booking to secure initial admin fees and secure bookings with local suppliers.

For FIT bookings (1-9 pax)

• 20% non refundable deposit

• Total balance due 45 days prior to trip.

Groups (10+ pax)

• 20 % non refundable depost within 72 hours of confirmation

• 30% second payment 90 days prior to trip

• 50% final payment 60 days prior to arrival.

Changing itinerary after confirmation

Any changes such as date, location, transfers & experiences made after confirmation and deposit received, a standard admin fee of ZAR500 will apply and be added to the total amount due for the trip.

Standard Cancellation Terms:

• 90+ days - 85% refund

• 89-60 days - 70% refund

• 59 - 45 days - 50% refund

• 44 - 30 days - 25% refund

• 29 - 0 days - Non-refundable

Cruise "No-Dock" Clause: Into Tours cannot be held liable for cruise liners that are unable to dock due to unforeseen circumstances, such as delays, no docking availability, natural disasters, bad weather, fires, or turbulence worldwide. Into Tours will do its best to reschedule your tour based on availability for a different date within the same travel period. If rescheduling is not possible, or the guest chooses to cancel, a partial refund may be provided for a one-day tour only. Any prepaid entrance fees and third-party supplier charges remain subject to the relevant supplier’s terms and may be non-refundable. This clause does not apply to multi-day tours or packages.
